California Speed Portable

Strap yourself in for all kinds of fun as you get ready to sink the accelerator pedal and race through some of the most scenic parts of the wildcard state in California Speed. The 11 featured courses will take you through Santa Cruz, Yosemite, Central Valley, Highway 1, Los Angeles, Mojave, Monterey, Mount Shasta, San Diego, San Francisco, and the Silicon Valley. After a few Practice Races that let you get the feel of the road for 999 seconds, you’re going to want to dive into the heart of the game, which is Series Mode. Driving in this mode makes you race each track three times in four assorted competitions: Light, Heavy, Sport, and the California Cup. You get to race in a fifth competition, State, but that only requires you to race each course once. The courses run from the mundane to the psychedelic: one minute you’re cruising past the famous Hollywood sign and the next you’re navigating through a UFO mothership. Welcome to California.
